Former Bull Hotel

Built in 1876 as the Bull Hotel (replacing the previous, smaller Bull Inn); this building was converted from a pub into a shop (Ratners the jewellers) in 1976.

Moss Bros is a menswear retailer founded by Moses Moss in Covent Garden, London, in 1851. It specialises in formal wear and also operates a suit hire service.

2002 - Savoy Taylors Guild rebranded the store to the identity of its parent company, Moss Bross.

This building was probably built in 1886, having been vacant then and having been offered for sale in 1885 for the purpose of demolition and rebuild. Old photos likewise indicate that this building was erected sometime in the 1880s, replacing a previous, smaller structure.
