Market Way was a covered arcade connecting Broad Street to the Butter Market and Bristol & West Arcade. It replaced the old Covered Market (also known as 'The Arcade') in 1965. It was built by Bernard Sunley & Sons, which was a leading property developer during the postwar property boom of the 1950s.
