Queen Victoria Street

Queen Victoria Street was created in 1903 to link Broad Street directly with Station Road. Nos. 29 to 34 Broad Street were all demolished to make way for it.

Queen Victoria Street was pedestrianised in 1997 at the same time as the eastern end of Broad Street. Both streets were paved with red brick in 2001.
